Based on the cars built by the Sandy River Railroad around 1900.

Easy to assemble kit features laser-cut wood parts, brass wire, plastic nut/bolt detail, laser-cut precise assembly jigs for rack assembly and deck hole drilling, b&w and full color photos.

Parts included to do either early or later strengthened version.

When the US Postal Service got a look at the RGS's open railtruck, they threatened to revoke the mail contract. The mail had to be carried in a secure location. This is what the RGS came up with.

Easy to build.  Laser-cut wood with plastic details, and peal and stick roofing.  Removable, fits into stake pockets. Cab window frames included.   Railtruck not included.

This is a slightly longer, 1/2" longer,  version on our #5-a caboose kit with a taller cupola.   Kit includes new floor and parts to lengthen the Bachmann caboose chassis.

                                        S scale kit.

These 3 almost identical cars were built by the Maine Central RR in 1913.  Two of the cars survived the RR.

This is our 1st correct size caboose kit, no compromises in size here.  Measured from the original 556 in Phillips, Maine.  Complete with full interior. Details match the prototype. Trucks and couplers not included.

These kits consist of laser-cut plywood and basswood with peal and stick parts.  Kits also contain plastic details including stove and brake cylinder/reservoir, brass handrails and ladders, scale looking draft gear. Trucks and couplers not included.  Will require Kadee (R) #26 or McHenry #14 couplers and On2 or On30 trucks of your choice. 

S scale kit includes brass rod and card jigs for handrails, lazerboard laser-cut ladders and full interior and brake details. Will require trucks of your choice and Kadee HOn3 couplers.

Full detail inside and out.  2-side etched scale thickness sides, one piece roof walk/ platforms, correct size airbrake castings, semi-scale draft gear (uses #26 couplers), working doors, and pre-bent handrails.  Also includes plastic and brass detail parts, brass wire, white metal air hoses and retainer castings.  Includes decals as shown (can also de done as #55).  Requires trucks and #26 couplers and paint to complete.

This kit was measured from the original car located at the SR&RL RR in Phillips ,Maine and includes the 2" sag the car had in 1935 photos and still has today.

Kit consists of plywood sub structure which is covered with peel and stick lazerboard.  Includes short and tall radiator ends, extra doors, and laser-cut glazing.  Slides right onto the SW9 chassis.
